Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026

These terms apply to the Claim Guard Shopify app and website, operated by the developer of Claim Guard. By installing or using Claim Guard you agree to them.

What Claim Guard does

Claim Guard flags wording in your store that may be risky under advertising, health-claim and marketplace rules, explains why, and suggests safer wording, including suggestions written by AI. It can apply changes to your products when you ask it to, and keeps a history so you can undo them.

Not legal advice

Claim Guard is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance. Its rules and AI suggestions can miss problems or flag wording that is acceptable. Laws and platform policies change and differ by country. You remain responsible for the content of your store, ads and emails, and for checking important decisions with a qualified professional.

AI suggestions

AI-written suggestions are shown for your review before anything is saved. Check them for accuracy, especially ingredients, sizes and directions, before saving.

Acceptable use

Do not use Claim Guard to break the law, to scan stores in order to harass their owners, or to overload or attack the service. We may suspend access for abuse.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Claim Guard running, but it may be unavailable at times, and third-party services it relies on (Shopify, Google, AI providers) may change or limit their services. We may update features, rules and these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Claim Guard is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, product disapprovals, fines or regulatory actions.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
